Director of Market Sales, Budapest

The Marriott Sales Office in Budapest is looking for a Director of Market Sales, to lead the Budapest cluster’s energetic and motivated Market Sales team and own the following responsibilities:

• corporate, leisure and local catering business development for the cluster hotels: Budapest Marriott Hotel, Courtyard by Marriott Budapest City Center, Millennium Court Marriott Executive Apartments
• developing and implementing strategic and tactical plans to increase the hotels’ share in transient and group segments
• actively participating in the sales process
• administering the staffing, training and performance reviews of the market sales team

The ideal candidate has strong market intelligence of corporate, leisure and local catering segments, interpersonal and organization skills and minimum 3 years relevant Sales experience preferably in hotel industry.

Educational requirements and skills:
• educational: bachelor’s degree
• skills, knowledge: Hungarian and English language proficiency, leadership skills, computer skills, great organizational skills, creativity and ability to work as a team-player are necessary
