Spalneo is looking for a Business Development Manager

Spalneo is a start-up company with an innovative reservation system and marketing platform for Spa, wellness and beauty services, with offices located in Budapest, Bratislava and Prague.

Our aim is to help Spas, wellness centres and beauty salons to attract the young generation through online booking. We created a new tool to search&book Spa and wellness trips; beauty services and sport activities effortlessly, quickly - and as easily as to call a taxi or book a plane ticket. The Business Development Manager will be responsible for developing the estate of partner venues ensuring we have the very best Spas, wellness hotels and salons for our customers to book. We have ambitious growth plans, so this opportunity offers exciting challenges and career opportunities for the right person. This fulltime position will be based in our Budapest office.

Function description:

• Visit the important wellness hotels and beauty centres in Hungary;
• You contact and support Spalneo’s acquisition of new salons and beauty studios in Hungary;
• You inform Spas, wellness hotels and beauty salons about spalneo.com and the benefits we offer;
• You provide potential partners the (initial) training on how to use Spalneo booking system;
• You will be responsible for the improvement of spa, wellness hotels, and beauty salons’ availability and supply in order to support spalneo.com in meeting the demands of the visitors on the spalneo.com website.

Main Responsibilities:

• Identify venues in Hungary using a range of different channels.
• Cold calling venues in person and on the phone to establish a strong pipeline of booked meetings.
• Promote Spalneo brand name and its online reservation services to hotels and salons;
• Able to draft a strong elevator pitch to grab the interest of business owners. Liaison person for hotels and salons to contact when they have questions;
• Provide hotels and salons with information and advice by phone or email, including followups;

Required Skills:

• 3 years of experience in a relevant account management function;
• Fluent English and Hungarian mother tongue;
• Affinity/experience within etravel and/or hotel/travel industry;

You might be our ideal candidate if you had worked for a lifestyle magazine as a sales manager and you have an active social capital to hotels, wellness centres and key partners of the beauty sector.

To join our team you need to have a
bachelor’s degree;
Hotel School or University background preferred;
Knowledge of the hair, beauty and wellness industries is desirable;
A consultative approach to selling being able to use questioning effectively;
Driver’s license;
Availability to travel 60% of the time.
