Convention Sales Manager/Executive, Budapest

Tasks and responsibilities
-To manage sales activities and events 
-Take responsibility for groups and MICE, handle all correspondence bookings from inquiry till the contract is signed
-Liaise with the reservations department for room availability and room preferences
-Monitors and analyses competitor set and activities 
-Establishes and maintains a record system for all bookings, accounts and activities( Delphi and Opera)
-Welcome organisers in house and conduct site inspections to evaluate space and event needs
-Develop and increase banqueting revenues by effective suggestive selling
-Conduct exit interviews 

Requirements
-University/College degree in economics preferably in tourism and hospitality
-3-5 years professional experience in sales preferably in hotels
-Fluent written and oral language skills in Hungarian and English
-Excellent communication and guest/client handling capabilities
