The Marketing Manager plans and executes marketing initiatives of the property's products and services.  The Marketing Manager is responsible for conceiving, planning, directing, controlling, and implementing the activities that generate and maximize overall revenues, through marketing, promotion, advertising, and public relations.  The Marketing Manager must harmonize the culture, mission, values, and quality standards to ensure maximum potential is achieved.  This person must create an exceptional climate of professional and personable service that ensures the long term engagement of employees, guests, and owners.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the creation of the annual sales and marketing plan and strategies for the property.
  • Manage annual RFP process with team, including global, national, and local accounts.
  • Work with the Director of Revenue Management to optimize revenue through all market segments.
  • Drive visitation, growth, and revenue in rooms, entertainment, food and beverage, and other property outlets.
  • Work with digital team and agency partners on the implementation of the online campaign (website, SEM, and social media) and ensure all relevant communication is available on property websites.
  • Ensure marketing and public relations tactics align with Hard Rock brand standards and receive maximum media coverage.
  • Build business/market share by developing new ways to promote company and by participating in events to increase sales and profits.
  • Coordinate ongoing research of the industry to detect market trends and related information for development of new sales and marketing strategies. Make recommendations to improve potential from various markets.
  • Execute Hard Rock Rewards program at local level.
  • Work with Hard Rock corporate marketing team on creation of print collateral.
  • Place orders with vendors to maintain adequate stock of inventory (collateral, brochures, etc.).
  • Provide property specific information and insight to the Hard Rock corporate marketing team to assure that initiatives meet needs.


Requirements:

  • 5+ years’ experience in hospitality management, including 2 years in a marketing role.  Luxury hotel experience preferred.
  • Working knowledge of local hospitality industry and culture; work experience in country preferred.
  • Experience in destination marketing.
  • Experience in successful branding, specifically the ability to drive brand message through multiple channels.
  • Experience in social media marketing.
  • Fluency in English and Hungarian: additional languages preferred
  • Precise, reliable, enthusiastic and team player personality is needed
