HARD ROCK HOTEL BUDAPEST – Reservation Agent

The Reservations Agent is responsible for providing quick and efficient service to all guests with reservation requests and inquiries for the hotel.  This position is responsible for sharing information with prospective guests to capture sales, and then coordinating the details of reservations.

Responsibilities:

• Review rates, packages, and promotions to ensure familiarity
• Be familiar with all aspects of the property and promote outlets to guests
• Identify callers’ needs
• Offer and reserve special requests
• Make reservations in PMS and confirm the information to guests
• Update reservations received from OTAs and brand website
• Complete mail, email, pre-paid, and direct bill reservations
• Handle advance saver reservations according to the policy
• Create and update group reservations, event function in PMS and finalize it with creation of a BO
• Enter group rooming lists
• Handle no-show reservations daily

Requirements:

• College degree in tourism and hotel management is a must
• Previous work experience in hospitality and knowledge of Opera PMS is an advantage
• Fluency in English and Hungarian: additional languages preferred
• Precise, reliable, enthusiastic and team player personality is needed
