Main duties:
•Responsible that all reservation procedures and operations are met according to standards
•Creating innovative and dynamic upselling initiatives
•Overseeing the recruitment and hiring with the Director of Revenue & Reservations
•Responsible for training, mentoring the reservation team
•Focus on efficiency and profit maximalisation
•Responsible for management of group cut off dates, securing and monitoring group block activities
•Responsible for the right set up in Opera software, create the necessary rate codes, notes and reservation links
•Handling sensitive guest complaints, issues
•Track and bill „no-show” guests, invoice non-refundable reservations and some particular events

The ideal candidate has
•Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, problem solving, reasoning, motivating and training abilities
•Flexible, team player with positive attitude
•Up to date with trends and events in the hotel industry and Budapest market
•Fluent German and French knowledge is an advantage
•Strong leadership skills.

Minimum expectations:

•College or higher degree
•3 years relevant experience preferably gained in a Hotel environment
•Fluent English and Opera knowledge
