Sales Executive - Meetings & Events

The Aquincum hotel, a 310 bedrooms and suites hotel, part of Corinthia Hotels, is looking for a motivated, customer and revenue-oriented Sales Executive. The person in this position would support the daily work of the sales managers and be responsible for the business groups and events.

Your main responsibilities

  • Management of business groups and events from quotation to invoicing
  • Continuous contact and cooperation with DMCs, event organisers, companies
  • Answer customer inquiries within 24 hours in a professional and timely manner
  • Processing FUPs, emails, sending BEOs and Pro-forma invoices
  • Organise and conduct sales calls and site inspections
  • Use negotiating skills and creative selling abilities to convert business
  • Collaboration with all other departments, especially with the F&B Manager and the Chef


Key requirements

  • Minimum one year of professional experience in sales and event management, preferably in a 4*+ hotel
  • Excellent verbal and written skills in Hungarian and English
  • Knowledge of OPERA Sales & Catering is an advantage
  • High customer and service orientation, attention to detail
  • Good team player but has a strong ability to work independently
  • Positive attitude, flexibility at work
  • Professional appearance and excellent manners
