Sales Manager

Job Summary

To a) develop the commercial strategy that positions the hotel as the market leader within the defined competitive set, and b) execute all necessary pro-active and re-active sales, e-commerce, marketing & PR  activities to exceed owner expectations in regards to revenue generation and market share.

Duties & Key Responsibilities

• Lead all sales, reservations and marketing activities on property
• Develop the commercial strategy for the hotel and implement
• Schedule & execute detailed action plans to support the revenue generation in all segments and departments
• Show and use the passion for your brand in all sales conversations and negotiations
• Explore and invest time on developing innovative approaches to generate revenue and extend customer bases
• Design, gain approval for, and execute the hotel’s marketing strategy and plan for rooms sales
• Ensure that the hotel is well positioned and marketed on internet and other distribution channels
• Monitor reservations activities on property
• Identify new contacts, develop sales leads, and respond to sales opportunities in order to maximize revenue
• Understand fully the hotel amenities, packages and promotions
• Generate and develop sales leads and contact potential clients to build business relationships
• Produce quotations and written confirmation to all clients
• Monitor customer satisfaction regularly and resolve any outstanding issues to ensure future business
• Arrange and carry out Hotel show rounds
