General Manager, Novotel Szeged
The Hungarian hotel subsidiary of the Orbis Group, operating Sofitel, MGallery, Novotel, Mercure and Ibis hotels – is looking for GENERAL MANAGER to NOVOTEL SZEGED.
KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The General Manager
* is responsible for attaining the sales, managerial and financial targets of the profit center under his / her charge;
* develops the annual budget and capital investments budget;
* organizes the hotel and manages the team to fulfill the customer promise, in compliance with current regulations;
* analyses business results on a regular basis and takes actions to improve results as appropriate;
* leads by example;
* is an ambassador for the Group in front of guests and in relations with local authorities;
* helps provide continual satisfaction for guests by ensuring top quality service in compliance with current standards, procedures and legislation.
* Diploma in hospitality / food & beverage, tourism or customer services
* At least 5 years’ experience in a management position in hospitality / food & beverage
* Fluent English knowledge is a must; knowledge of other languages is a plus
SKILLS AND QUALITIES:
* Leadership, service minded, autonomy, well organized, adaptability to changing work environments, good listening skills.
