Hotels in Hungary may see a 10-15% increase in guest nights during the upcoming holiday season compared to last year, László Könnyid, president of the Association of Hungarian Hotels and Restaurants (MSZÉSZ), said.
Hotels in the countryside could increase their overall occupancy to 80% at Christmas, during the last few days of December and at New Year's Eve, Könnyid said. Many units in the countryside have been offering special package deals for the holiday period.
