Turkish-owned outbound tour operator Orex Travel is planning to launch two charter flights to Turkey this year with Corendon Airlines, the company has announced.

Orex Travel will offer accommodation at 24 hotels in Turkey to Hungarian visitors based on exclusive agreements and will also employ Hungarian-speaking animators at three hotels, according to sales and marketing director Eszter Ruszkovszky. The number of hotels available to Hungarians will total 250, mostly near Antalya.

The tour operator is also planning to start charters to Bulgaria, Northern Cyprus and Crete in Greece next year. Also on the agenda is the future launch of a new charter flight to Antalya from Debrecen in eastern Hungary.

Orex Travel is controlled by Turkish tourism group Anex, which has offices in 14 countries and operates as a tour operator in nine markets. The group also owns hotels on the Turkish riviera and it runs the Azur Air airline with a fleet of 27 aircrafts.

Orex Travel was established in Hungary in the fall last year, following its debut in the Czech and Slovakian markets in 2011 and entry into the Polish market in 2014. It is now planning to establish a subsidiary in Romania as well this year.
