The government has increased its planned budget for tourism developments until 2030 by Ft 50 billion to Ft 186 billion, according to a new decree modifying original regulations about the program effective since last August.

The Ft 186 billion sum will include spending on projects in special tourism regions, such as Lake Balaton or the Tokaj region.

The current government decree also increased the annual spending limit on tourism developments in the scheme to Ft 25.5 billion from the original amount of Ft 21.4 billion.
