Assistant Housekeeping Team Leader

Responsibilities

• Assist the Housekeeping Team Leader in inspirationally leading and managing the Housekeeping team
• Ensure that all rooms are made as per company, brand standards
• Ensure the cleanliness, orderliness and appearance of the entire hotel, helping to provide a memorable brand-specific guest experience at all times
• Under the leadership of the Housekeeping Team Leader, plan the work for the Housekeeping team effectively, distribute room-cleaning assignments and assign extra days off according to occupancy forecast
• Assign duties for HSK hosts in guest areas
• Inspect public areas, back of house and TM locker rooms daily
• Manage the housekeeping team through times of stress, speedily resolve guest concerns and implement resolutions by using discretion and judgement

Requirements

• Hungarian and English language required
• Housekeeping/laundry experience in the hotel/leisure/retail sector in supervisory capacity
• A successful track record of managing a large team
• Excellent leadership, interpersonal and communication skills
• Committed to delivering high levels of customer service
• Flexibility to respond to a range of different work situations
• Strong organizational and problem solving skills
