InterContinental Budapest is looking for a Corporate Sales Executive.

Manage sales activities and acquire new clients in line with the annual sales and marketing plan to achieve budget and sales strategy for the hotel.

Tasks and responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain contact with corporate accounts, business generators, airlines, government departments, MICE related clients and other producers closely allied to hotel business
  • Build profile within local market place through attendance at various events
  • Maintain regular contact with IHG Hotels and Resorts in region and the regional reservation office
  • Sell to new, existing and prospective customers considering goals set forth in the sales strategy, negotiating optimum rate for the benefit of the business
  • Service existing business through management of accounts
  • Develop and maintain a regular pattern of sales calls
  • Conduct client interviews, entertain clients
  • Plan and conduct familiarization tours and site inspections
  • Assist with the preparation of new products and services

Requirements:

  • University/College degree in economics preferably in tourism and hospitality
  • 2-3 years professional experience in sales preferably in hotels
  • Fluent written and oral language skills in Hungarian and English
  • Ability to work in team and independently
  • Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication and guest/client handling capabilities
  • Positive attitude
  • Goal oriented personality
