Account Manager Support

HRS, a company boasting over 40 years of experience in the travel industry are looking for a dedicated Hungarian-speaking Account Support Manager to stay in charge of corporate clients relationships in Hungary. We're looking for a candidate living in Budapest – with excellent command of  English and Hungarian language – both written and spoken. The position will be part of our Corporate Solutions department and is office-based (Budapest), predominantly focused on regular telephone contacts and e-mail exchange with our Clients. Hungarian activities are realized within HRS Polish Office structures – as Warsaw office is fully responsible for revenue coming from  Polish, Czech, Hungarian and Slovakian HRS sites. HRS Poland report directly to Head Quarter in Germany (Cologne).

Job Description:

• Responsibility for key customers and proactive development of corporate client portfolio (developing relationships with customers and partners in the corporate segment of HRS)

• Responsibility for implementing cooperation with new clients (client ‘roll-out’ and activation)

• Responsibility for the development of the assigned portfolio of clients and their financial performance, as measured by dedicated KPI's

• Personal participation in meetings with clients

• Performing customer service in direct and indirect format (teleconferences, online trainings, etc.)

• Reaching out to all departments and contact persons dealing with booking hotels in the organizational structures of the customer

• Regular monitoring of the assigned client portfolio, optimizing cooperation

• Continuously developing intelligence on key customers, new developments, their internal organization, etc.

• Responsibility for educating, training clients and introducing them to the full range of HRS system functionality

• Responsibility for preparation of materials summarizing the client relationship with HRS (reports, statistics)

• Close cooperation with Account Management (locally) and the international structure of the Global Account Management

• Participation in the creation of the so-called Account Development Plans (detailed client cooperation programs and Service Level Agreements)

• Close cooperation with Hotel Solutions department

• Creative solving of encountered problems in favor of the customer

• Conducting written correspondence with HRS customers in Hungarian and English

• Close cooperation with the department of Meetings and Groups (Local)

• Close collaboration with international corporate departments attached to the Warsaw HRS office

• Constant self-improvement in terms of product and HRS system functionality, as well as the Business Travel industry key trends and developments

• Reporting to the Director of Corporate Sales HRS in Warsaw

• Proudly represent the HRS brand


  • Min. 3 years of experience in Hotel Corporate Sales department or Business Travel industry
  • Strong sales drive and hunger for business
  • Very good knowledge of local corporate and business travel market
  • Excellent command of English and Hungarian languages – both written and spoken
  • Strong orientation on results and strategic goals
  • Very good communication skills, both over-the-phone and in writing
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Outlook)
  • Excellent time-management skills
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Ability to work in a team
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Ability to create, interpret and action upon reports
  • Willingness to learn and develop inside an international company
