The goal of the role is to ensure that the restaurant operates efficiently and profitably while maintaining its reputation and ethos.

Main strategic responsibilities:

  • strategic planning
  • marketing and business development
  • analyzing and planning restaurant sales levels and profitability
  • creating and executing plans for department sales, profit, and staff development


Main operative, leadership, and business-related responsibilities:

  • shift pattern organization
  • day-to-day management activities
  • organizing marketing events
  • preparing reports including staff control, food control, and sales
  • setting budgets and agreeing on them with senior management
  • coordinating the entire operation of the restaurant during scheduled shifts
  • managing staff throughout their growth and providing them with feedback
  • responding to customer complaints
  • ensuring that all employees adhere to the compan’s uniforms and grooming standars
  • meeting and greeting customers and organizing table reservations
  • advising customers on menu and wine choice
  • recruiting, training and motivating staff
  • maintaining high standars of quality control
  • hygiene, and health safety
  • checking stock levels and ordering supplies

Expectations,experience, education:

  • Customer centricity

  • Planning and organizational skills

  • Good command of English
  • Usage of Opera, Micros, or similar systems
  • Computer literacy
  • Market and product knowledge
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in similar position within a luxury brand, fine-dining restaurant
  • Higher education in Hospitality/Tourism

Position Summary

The position is responsible for proactively identifying and managing sales opportunities. Ensures proper and timely delivery of business for proper service delivery. Assists in the management of all day-to-day activities related to sales, with a focus on building long-term, value-based customer relationships that enable sales targets to be met. Achieves personal sales targets. Responsible for increasing customer loyalty by providing excellent service throughout each customer experience

Profile

· BA degree in administration, marketing, hotel and restaurant management or related subjects

· 3 years of experience in sales and marketing or related professional field

· Knowledge of the general market - strengths and weaknesses of competitors, economic trends, supply and demand, etc. and know how to market against these

· Offers the best options based on market conditions and property needs

· Provides accurate, complete and efficient sales for event management

· Uses the intranet to find resources and information

· Builds relationships with new and existing clients

· Possesses a high level of discipline and problem solving skills

· Provides accurate, complete and efficient turnaround for event management

· Perform sales activities

· Provides the best options based on market conditions and venue needs

· Ability to establish an emotional connection with guests and provide a high level of service
