Chief Accountant, Budapest

The Budapest Marriott Hotel is looking for a motivated and experienced Chief Accountant.

We are seeking for a seasoned, qualified and registered Chartered Accountant with experience and exposure to International Accounting Standards, month-end closings (US GAAP standards).

The candidate should be flexible and self-motivated, experienced in leading a three-member team on a day to day basis, and managing audit processes, A&L reconciliations, various projects and be able to interpret the Hungarian, statutory regulations. The successful candidate will be experienced in tax reporting and reconciliation. A strong command of written and spoken English will be expected.

Candidate profile: Bachelor’s degree in Finance & Accounting, professional experience, preferably in hotel Finance department. Leadership skills, Hungarian and English language proficiency are also essential.
