Chief Accountant - art’otel budapest

At art’otel budapest we’re looking to recruit a Chief Accountant!

As a Chief Accountant, it will be your responsibility to operate and control the entire financial and accounting system of the hotel according to the standards.

Key tasks & responsibilities
• Ensure the accounting procedures of the company
• Comply with yearly and monthly reporting requirements according to the Hungarian regulations
• Prepare the annual budget together with the General Manager based on the feedback of the Head of Departments
• Prepare balance sheet, income statement and tax return within deadlines
• Coordinate the operative work of the financial/accounting department
• Prepare and submit tax statements due to Hungarian regulations
• Assist at internal and external controls

What we are looking for
• relevant university/college degree and registered chartered accountant certificate
• several years of similar professional experience preferably in a hotel environment
• posses a good command of Hungarian and English and preferably German as well
• excellent (inter)personal and communication skills and customer-oriented attitude
