Sales Event Banquet & Conference Planner, Sofitel Budapest Chain Bridge

The Sofitel Budapest Chain Bridge Hotel is looking for a Sales Event Banquet & Conference Planner

Duties:
•Researching markets to identify opportunities for events
•Qualifying the group leads
•Producing detailed proposals for events and suggesting the best options in terms of the bedrooms and meeting room requirements
•Negotiating profitable group & banquet sales
•Converting the group leads
•Cooperating with the banquet teams and other hotel departments in order to ensure the right information flow
•Preparation of the detailed function sheets
•Making sure that the function runs smoothly and efficiently
•Arranging Exit Interviews to ensure the maximum satisfaction of the group organizer
•Post-event management related to follow-up calls & invoicing

Requirements:
•Creative and open minded
•Dynamic and motivated person
•Guest orientated
•Fluent in English oral and written - second foreign language is a plus
•Hotel Experience is not a must
