Senior Convention Sales Manager (Events), InterContinental Budapest

InterContinental Budapest is looking for a Senior Convention Sales Manager to join the team!

Responsibilities:
- Take responsibility for groups bookings from sales handover to event pre-conference 
- Handle all correspondence for additional pre-event details ensuring that operational teams are fully aware of requirements
- Welcome organizers in house and conduct site inspections to evaluate space and event final needs
- Coordinate allocation of space for the conference and associated events 
- Develop and increase banqueting revenues by effective suggestive selling
- Handover operations to Banquet Team on site and conduct all final billing procedures
- Conduct exit interviews and communicate to relevant departments respective feedback

Requirements:
- University/College degree in economics preferably in tourism and hospitality
- 5+ years professional experience in sales and event organizing preferably in hotels
- Fluent written and oral language skills in Hungarian and English
- Ability to work in team and independently
- Excellent communication and guest/client handling capabilities
