Le Méridien Budapest, a Five-star hotel, part of Starwood Hotels & Resorts is looking for an Assistant IT Manager.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Directly responsible for the daily operation, maintenance, user access, user support and security of all technology hardware, software, data, IT-related standards and procedures.
• Maintain clear communication and information exchange between hotel and regional staff to ensure optimum sharing of technology issues and solutions.
• Assist to IT Manager in implementation of all IT projects.
• Support Corporate, Divisional technology projects and requirements.
• Maintain, implement and adhere to all Starwood IT and IT-related internal control policies, in particular GISP and any other security standards.
• Ensure quality of data is maintained with all systems including ensuring all systems are properly backed-up as standards require.
• Ensure all security, data-protection and data-privacy requirements are met to the best level possible.
• Ensure smooth technology operations for all associates and assist in ensuring all guest-facing technologies meet service level agreements with external suppliers and are in adherence to all IT-related operational and brand standards.
• Resource and co-ordinate effective training to enable all staff to carry out their use of technology systems to a high degree of effectiveness.
• Provide 24x7 on-call duties.

REQUIREMENTS:
• min. 2 years of experience in the area of IT
• system support and operating department experience
• effective planner and good project skills
• knowledge of Windows OS and Windows Server OS installation and administration required
• knowledge of MS Office required
• fluent in English
