Reservation Clerk

Main duties:
• Responsible for maximizing room revenue and occupancy as directed by the Director of Revenue;
• Answer all incoming calls promptly, in an attentive, courteous and efficient manner;
• Answer guest inquiries about hotel services, facilities, hours of operation, and local area & attractions;
• Book room reservations while focusing on maximizing room revenue and average rate using standard rate quoting scenario at all times.
• Up sell rooms when possible;
• Deliver the reservation process according to the hotel standard;
• Managing the administration of group blocks;
• Communicate and work closely with the Sales Department concerning group bookings; • Maintain accurate files and reports;
• Book and block rooms using hotel standards for Group Rooming Lists and Booking Agreements.

Minimum expectations:
• Diploma in hotel industry;
• Fluent English;
• German knowledge is an advantage;
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
• Experience in customer service field;
• Exceptional service attitude;
• Excellent phone manner;
• Minimum one year experience in hotel industry
